I wish mine would fly across the screen easier, it does depend on the mouse..but that's what I get for spending 15 instead of 30 dollars...oh well.

It's a big situation of "to each their own". I run Guild Wars at 1600x1200 with all settings maxed, and I'm not having much of a problem with the bars. So in effect, I have no problem with the bars.
It is a pretty weird thing to update...I dunno who thought that they looked too big, I was never really bothered with it.
And my question about higher interfaces causing lag hasn't been answered. Anyone know?

I play on Small Interface so I can see more. This new Party Window makes me see less, because I have to invest too much time in reading it. Make it scaleable please.

you really should have control over party window size. Even if you don't use it, ask for it for us monks.

Well fair is fair.. I went back to normal for my interface size and it is pretty much as it was. We'll see if I still have the eye strain issues.

You guys do realize you can change the size of the bars by changing the interface size, right? No change in resolution necessary.
BTW, I run a healing ritualist and a protection monk, and with the first I haven't had any trouble adjusting, and with the second I don't look at the party window anyway.

well after monking in HA for like 3 hours with the new party window, i didnt find much of a problem with it as i initially thought i would. I had only one occasion where i misclicked on a different name and missed saving a teammate. ive done that before on normal party window....

Please fix the health bars! Reverse to the old ones and make them customizable. Current health bars are too small and my eyes hurt when I look at them because of color change.

I noticed the aesthetic change but didn't notice any difficulty in playing my monk with the thinner bars. O.o What's really the difference? 0.5 milimeters? lol
I don't see the point of those who use these HUGE party windows taking almost half of the screen but...
I liked this change. Please give us more UI optimizations A.Net . =D
(not demanding though :P )

I don't like the new bars, but only for aesthetic reasons. Coming from someone who plays monk and pretty much only monk, I didn't notice I had a harder time finding the bars to click to heal. Though I was not infusing, so that might be a different story.

I think it's all fixed now. If so, good jump on that, ANet. Kudos.

It's too bad they chose to put it back to the way they had it rather than giving us the option to customize. I really liked the smaller bars. When you have a party of 8, plus 8 pets, and then extra allies, you end up giving the entire right side of the screen to the party menu, if you want to see everyone. I'd much rather have the smaller bars, so I think customization is definitely a better choice.

Thanks for revert Anet.
keistje : i believe they have said that the game doesnt allow them to give option, the same thing was asked back when the colors of activation bar and interrupts were changed. So I'm just glad that they reverted.

I don't like the new party menu much myself but I've never had a problem with it. I support a movement for the old one though. /signed

I would really love a way to change them to they way they were. I guess I'm the only one that liked them smaller though, so they will just call it a bug and revert it.

No, no, actually we listened to player response and changed based on what players told us. The changes were not a bug, not at all. But if players did not care for the changes, or if there were difficulties with playability because of them, we do want to be responsive whenever possible. I believe both Austin and Eric worked on this change. Personally I like any option to make my interface smaller to take up less screen-space. That option makes the game more immersive for me and yes I do play Monk quite a bit. But I understand the concerns of those who didn't care for it. (Oh and *ahem* The "listening to players" and trying to meet their desires doesn't mean that if enough people ask for limitless energy we're going to go with "majority rules." )
And to those saying "Thanks," well, you're welcome.

Lol they changed it back.
If a bunch of people made you change your mind (without even knowing what the majority thinks), now I ask you, dear A.Net, to make it customizable, to make everyone happy. Cool, huh?
You sure don't want to make some people feel like someone took a candy out of their mouths because others felt it was wrong, right?
That's why I know you will make it customizable.
Not everyone has big wide screens and high-end video cards to play in 1600x1200, you know? So a smaller UI really IS an option.
I really don't understand the difference of the smaller bars, since when you hover your mouse over the bars they are highlighted.
